Past Tense Pt. 2: What it was for him

"I remember wanting to hold your hand very badly. I was trying not to make it to romantic since you were talking about how cheesy it was that you and your friends had just did something like that."

At the time I didn't know why holding hands made it so awkward for me. In retrospect, I was fighting it all the way. I'm still resisting, but not like before.
